Sisters of Charity

Trade Aid has been supporting the Sisters of Charity based in Maamba Zambia over a number of years. Initially, following a request from Sister Mary Fallon we supplied the necessary tools and equipment to set up a new training workshop at the mission with the aim of training the local people in a trade to enable them to set up small businesses and help the community become self supporting.

The picture shows one of the recipients with her new Trade Aid sewing machine and her letter of thanks to Trade Aid for giving her the oportunity to support her family
