Mexico, Therapies Unite

Mexico, Therapies Unite is a civil organisation based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that works with children and adults with disabilities to provide them with access to equipment, healthcare and rehabilitation services that they would otherwise not be able to afford.

The main goal is to make long lasting differences to the lives of disabled people in Mexico. To help towards this goal PhysioNet, based in Knaresborough, have sent a container full of wheelchairs and other orthopaedic equipment to Puerto Vallarta. With each container that PhysioNet sends goes a special Trade Aid box specifically designed with tools to service and repair wheelchairs.
